Privacy policy
This page explains what we do with the personal data you give us when you book a taxi on lowcostalbania.vip, and what rights you have over it. We keep it short and we do not sell your data to anyone.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Low Cost Albania, an electric taxi service operating in Tirana and across Albania, is the data controller. You can reach us at any time:

2. What we collect
When you send the booking form we store exactly what the form asks for:
- Your name and phone number — we need them to confirm the ride and to find you at pickup.
- Your email address — optional. Given only so we can send you a written confirmation.
- The trip itself: pickup and drop-off address, date and time, passengers, luggage, flight number and any note you add.
- Technical data saved with the booking: your IP address, your browser identification and the language you used. We keep these to spot abuse of the form.
- Your approximate location — only if you press the locate button yourself. Your browser asks you first, and we store the coordinates only as the pickup address you then submit.
We never ask for payment card details on this website. There is no prepayment — you pay the driver.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the ride you asked for: confirming it by phone or WhatsApp, sending the driver, answering you.
- To keep the records a transport business has to keep, and to protect the form against spam and abuse.
- To measure how the website and our advertising perform — only with your consent where consent is required (see section 4).
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
The site itself needs two small cookies: one that keeps your booking form session safe (lca_sid) and one that remembers whether you chose English or Albanian (lca_lang). Neither tracks you anywhere else.
We also use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to understand how many people visit and which adverts bring real bookings. When a booking succeeds we send Google the booking reference (for example LCA-7K2PD) so the same booking is never counted twice — never your name, phone number or email.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, these measurement cookies stay switched off until you accept them in the banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
5. Who else sees it
- Our drivers — only the details needed to carry out your ride.
- Google (Gmail), which carries our booking emails, and Telegram, which delivers the internal alert that a new booking arrived.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads, for the measurement described above.
- Cloudflare, which sits in front of the website to keep it fast and to block attacks.
These providers are outside Albania, so your data may be processed abroad under their own safeguards. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
6. How long we keep it
Bookings stay in our system for as long as we need them to run the service and to meet accounting obligations, and are deleted when neither reason applies any more. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
7. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the email address above and we will answer. If you accepted measurement cookies you can withdraw that at any time, and withdrawing it costs you nothing.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and the date below it.
